How Does Hydrafacial Work?
The Hydrafacial treatment uses a hand-held, wand-shaped device that reinvigorates the skin through a unique 3-step process that’s both soothing and effective.
During the 3 steps, the provider uses the wand to exfoliate the skin, extract impurities, and infuse the skin with hydrating serums. These steps include:
Cleanse and peel: Similar to microdermabrasion but less abrasive, a Hydrafacial resurfaces the skin and clears away the dirt and oil clogging the pores. A superficial peel also removes dead skin cells from the skin’s outer layer, revealing new skin underneath.
Extract: The tip at the end of the Hydrafacial wand efficiently vacuums debris and impurities from the pores.
Hydrate: The treatment finishes with the infusion of personalized, moisturizing serums geared to accomplish your specific goals, such as minimizing hyperpigmentation, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, brightening dull skin, shrinking enlarged pores, or getting rid of acne.
Hydrafacial treatment sessions typically take no more than 30 minutes.

Combining a Hydrafacial With Other Treatments
You can enhance the results of your Hydrafacial procedure by combining it with other skincare treatments. It works well to have a Hydrafacial a couple of weeks before a laser skin resurfacing treatment. Pairing dermal filler injections or an intense pulsed light (IPL) photofacial with a Hydrafacial can help restore a more youthful appearance.
